ISVW 7.0 is based on the ISVW 6.0x release along with new features
that extend the security capabilities. The new features include
User/group policies, Web reputation support, better reporting
capabilities, configuration migration from previous version, and
TMCM 5.0 support.
2.1 User/group policies that integrate with Microsoft Active
Directory for URL filtering and blocking
By intergrating with Microsoft Active Directory, a user can add
different policies for individual users and groups, and ISVW 7.0
filters user Internet access based on the policies defined by an
administrator.
2.2 Web Reputation (Web URL rating for security risks)
Web Reputation leverages the existing URL filtering service
infrastructure to provide the reputation of the accessing URL.
Based on the returned reputation score, ISVW 7.0 can determine to
pass, block, or trigger virus scan.
2.3 Better reporting capabilities
ISVW 7.0 is able to generate reports for SMTP, HTTP, POP3 and FTP
protocols. A user can schedule a report or generate a one-time
report.
2.4 Migration path from previous version
It is easy to migrate from previous ISVW versions (3.55, 5.0,
6.0x) to ISVW 7.0
