• Define what is scanned, e.g. system apps, apps on an SD card, etc
• Trigger an immediate scan
• Define the level of web protection - off, minimum, maximum
• Set up risk mitigation actions in the compliance settings
• Decide what a user can and can¿t do, such as ignoring apps

Protection from USSD hacks

Cyber criminals constantly find new ways to exploit weaknesses in any platform. A number of Android users have fallen victim to an attack via USSD code, making their device do a factory reset. USSDs are special codes used for many functions. In many countries, they are used as the codes for performing tasks like checking the amount of credit you have left on your phone.

Sophos Mobile Security checks these codes against threat data and warns your users before executing the code. The user can confirm whether they want to continue or block the code.
