The agent monitors all activities that take place on the computer. The server has an agent pulling module that gets information from the network in a centralized way.

There is a notification and configuration module that sends notifications via ICQ and email to the security specialist. There is a report generation module that generates scheduled reports, and emails them, if necessary.

The security specialist program lets the security specialist view the data collected from the agents. You can be promptly notified when someone violates the security policy.

The administrator program lets you configure agents, the security policy, and the security specialist software. With LanAgent Enterprise, agents can work independently of the rest of the system.

Log files can be stored as long as necessary, though they can also be cleared when they reach a certain size. You can set monitoring to start upon Windows startup.
