Xceed SFTP for .NET provides a .NET library for working with SFTP (SSH File Transfer Protocol). With the SFTP protocol, you get robust and secure file transfer, file access and file management. Xceed SFTP for .NET is based on Xceed’s intuitive file- and folder-based FileSystem Core object model, which makes including secure remote file operations to any .NET or ASP.NET app even easier. It also facilitates integrating SFTP into existing apps that use FileSystem Core.

SFTP protocol features

• Complies with RFC 4253, 4252, and 4254
• Supports secure FTP via SSL 3.0 and 3.1 (TLS) in both the FtpClient and FileSystem interfaces
• Implements the SSH-2 protocols.
• Implements version 6 of the SFTP protocol.
• Provides an automatic compatibility mode with version 3 of the SFTP protocol, which detects the version of the server SFTP is detected, and the component adjusts to version 3 if necessary.
