• Interactivity in the graph item- add interactive groups, toggle item visibility, open other reports, link to a webpage or jump to a location in the existing report.
• Start/sweep angle in Pie and Doughtnut graphs- support for start/sweep angles in all graphs which support the polar co-ordinate system (pie, doughnut, custom charts).
• Built against .NET 4- the move to .NET 4 allows you to take advantage of the newest functionality of Telerik Reporting. Technical support for .NET2 and .NET3 builds will continue for one calendar year.
• Requires Visual Studio 2010/2012- the move to .NET4+ results in the requirement of Visual Studio 2010 or 2012.

• OLAP Charting Engine- the new Graph Report Item (beta) will supersede the old chart report item. The new report item can visualise multi-dimensional data with dimensions arranged in categories and series and it utilises the built-in Telerik Reporting OLAP data processing engine to summarise and quantify the data.
• Visualisations- the Graph Report Item provides a new set of visualisation capabilities including scatter and bubble charts, polar, column, bar, area, line, pie, doughnut, rose, sparkline and more.
• Backwards compatibility- note that whilst both chart types can work simultaneously in existing reports, the new charting engine is not backwards compatible with the old one.

• Import existing reports to the standalone Report Designer- import reports created in Visual Studio into the Report Designer, which can then be passed to the end-user for self-editing
• Connect to Object/OpenAccess/Entity data sources in the Report Designer- all of the Telerik Reporting data source components (plus a new related wizard) allow you to connect a report in the standalone Report Designer to custom CLR objects, data models (such as an OpenAccess ORM model), external assemblies with custom data source objects, data feeds (including OData), and web services
• Embed your custom CLR object functions in the standalone Report Designer- reference your assemblies that contain user functions and reuse those static methods in the standalone Report Designer
• Report templates in the standalone Report Designer- report templates are the specimens for future reports, which will allow your users to create reports based on a pre-canned template.
