KioskGem allows businesses to take advantage of signature utomation in many different fields and systems. The rugged singleboard
construction and active electromagnetic pen make it possible to enclose the sensor inside the tablet’s heavy-duty plastic housing, so it will not be subject to wear in a high-traffic unregulated environment. The self-contained design allows for data and power to be carried through the standard RS-232 (serial) or USB cable. The tamper-resistant Pengem has a non-removable tip and durable 470-pound rated stainless steel wire rope, protecting it from damage or theft. The active lectromagnetic pen is designed for a long life of over 30 million tip activation cycles and features a special non-removeable plastic tip . Extensive software support is available at no extra charge and includes ActiveX, Java, Wintab drivers, and a shared C library for the capture, encryption, formatting, and secure processing of signatures. SigPlus software is compliant with eSign, state and federal digital signature regulations, by virute of its ability to bind and encrypt the signature to a document or electronic form data. Examples and software plug-ins are bundled with the tablet.
