Spread Studio for .NET 7 v3 - New Features

In the first release of 2014, C1 have provided new platform support, including Windows 8.1 and Windows Server 2012 R2, for all products, including Spread for WinForms, Spread for ASP.NET, Spread WPF-Silverlight, and Spread WinRT. They have also added design-time support for these products in Visual Studio 2013 and, in this release, Spread for ASP.NET now features support for Internet Explorer 11.

Spread Studio for .NET 7 v2 - New Features

• Performance - improved file import/export performance, improved formula parsing and other performance enhancements
• Touch - all components are updated for Windows 8 and touch devices and feature Excel 2013-like touch support
• Charting - new charting types in Spread WPF (40+), Spread Silverlight (30+) and Spread WinRT (30+) vastly improves data visualisation options
• Images - contain any image in its own picture layer in a sheet (WPF, Silverlight, WinRT controls)
• Formula textbox - placeable formula text box for users to perform Excel-like formula editing (WPF, Silverlight, WinRT controls)
• Plus more - other enhancements include improved support for Chrome and Safari for the ASP.NET spreadsheet control and a range of additional enhancements to the WPF, Silverlight and WinRT controls including: floating objects, array formula support, enhanced conditional formatting and designer enhancements.

Spread for WinForms 7 - New Features

• Conditional formatting enhancement - features improved functionality and visualisation support covering data bars, colour scales and icon sets.
• Filter enhancement - features a new filter bar and improved filter conditions covering number, date, text and colour.
• Globalisation enhancement - Chinese localisation support.
• Designer enhancement - numerous updates and enhancements to the Designer.
• Other enhancements - include 120 DPI support, error indicator for row/cell errors, support for drag-fill to fill in values incrementally plus more.

Spread for ASP.NET 7 - New Features

• Conditional formatting enhancement - features improved functionality and visualisation support covering data bars, colour scales and icon sets.
• Filter enhancement - features a new filter bar and improved filter conditions covering number, date, text and colour.
• Globalisation enhancement - Chinese localisation support.
• Context menu - built-in context menu that replaces the browser's standard context menu.
• Column header row template - now column header cells can have a different layout than data rows.
• CSS for cell editor - use Css syntax to set style for cell type's editor separately from the display mode CssClass property.
• Coding enhancement - supports strongly typed data controls for model binding and detailed IntelliSense comments can be declared for overloads of JavaScript functions.
• Environment enhancement - supports IE10, Visual Studio 2012 and multiple DPIs (96, 125, 135, 174 dpi)
• Performance enhancement - features improved performance when loading rows, rendering spreadsheets, importing Excel files and more.
• Other enhancements - plus numerous other enhancements.
