Quick, easy porting of GKS applications

In fact Win32GKS makes it possible to port a fully-functioning GKS application without any Windows-specific programming using the console models available with most Windows 32 bit compilers
• Win32GKS is implemented as a set of Windows libraries especially suitable for GKS applications written in either Fortran or C
• Win32GKS supports every printer, plotter and display which is supported by Windows. It does not however include a separate driver for each device supported as Windows itself contains all the necessary drivers. Win32GKS therefore includes drivers for the Windows printer and display devices. This means it is considerably smaller than traditional GKS implementations that need to include a driver for every device supported
• Another benefit for users is that they will automatically get support for new hardware as soon it is supported by Windows. They will not have to wait for separate Win32GKS driver releases from Oxford Scientific Software
