Janus GridEX

The grid implements its own data binding mechanism to perform sophisticated data manipulation. An unbound mode is available for managing data in any format without sacrificing grouping or sorting capabilities. Set format settings (such as font colours and styles) for rows that meet specific criteria and individual conditions for groups; in all cases, the grid control is aware of and adjusts records that meet the custom conditions automatically. A card view provides a means of browsing data.

Janus GridEX includes Janus ButtonBar 1.6, an ActiveX Control that mimics part of the Microsoft Outlook interface by organising icons into logical subsets using a sliding-group metaphor. Advanced properties and enhanced functionality provide the ability to create user interfaces and Outlook-style grids using custom events and notifications and the ability to load and save entire grid layouts to disk or from a server on the internet dynamically.
